Summer in Newquay & The Lost Gardens of Heligan 23rd - 27th August

COST PER PERSON: £475 PER PERSON

Includes Dingles Fairground Museum

What better place to be than Cornwall in the English Summertime, and on this tour we enjoy all that’s best about the area with a traditional Cornish cream tea.

We begin our tour with a stop at Dingles Fairground Museum, where you will have a chance to re-live your youth by enjoying a traditional fairground ride.

Our first day out is to The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The estate had been lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1, but this sleeping beauty was re-awakened in 1990 to become Europe’s largest restoration project. Today, Heligan’s 200 acres are a paradise for the explorer, wildlife, plant lover and gar-den romantic.

You will have a free day in Newquay, Cornwall’s premier holiday resort, boasting eleven magnificent sandy beaches. Although well known as Britain’s surfing capital, the town offers wonderful cliff and beach walks and a picturesque harbour to explore, as well as it’s cafes, bars and shops.

We finish our stay with a visit to Padstow, Cornwall’s seafood capital. Enjoy a crab sandwich on the harbour or take a walk along the glorious coastal path and admire the view across to Rock, before returning to Newquay, for a last walk along the seafront.
