Island Hopping On Bute & Skye 3rd June - 11th June

COST PER PERSON: £1255 PER PERSON

Includes Glass-Bottomed Wildlife Cruise

Two islands that famously encapsulate the best of the Scottish landscape are Bute & Skye, and our stunning tour features stays on both.

After an overnight in Carlisle, we travel from Wemyss Bay by ferry to Rothesay, arriving at our country house hotel in time for dinner. We will visit the neo-gothic Mount Stuart House & Gardens, set in 300 acres of landscaped gardens, woodland & coast. We then enjoy a scenic tour of the beautiful island of Bute.

Today we take a short ferry ride back to the mainland and travel along the shores of Loch Fyne before arriving at ‘the outdoor capital of the World,’ Fort William. We then head to Mallaig passing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct before catching the ferry to Armadale on Skye and making our way to the hotel.

The famous Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland, is our next attraction. We will then enjoy a scenic drive around Skye.

Before leaving the island we take a 1 hour cruise in a glass-bottomed boat with Seaprobe Atlantis. Back on the mainland we enjoy another cruise of Loch Ness in search of Nessie, before continuing our journey to Pitlochry and our next hotel.

Enjoy a relaxing free day in the picture-postcard town of Pitlochry with it’s many attractive shops, bars and tea-rooms before we begin our journey home.
