Snowdonia & Trains Of North Wales 15th—19th October

COST PER PERSON: £475 PER PERSON

Includes Snowdon Mountain Railway

After the popularity of our last ‘Little Trains of North Wales's tour, we return this year, but with the aim of seeing the view from the top of Snowdon with the add-ed benefit of the beautiful Autumn colours.

We begin with a drive to Porthmadog for a ride on one of the most famous Welsh railways, The Blaenau Ffestiniog. Enjoy the 13mile journey with dramatic views of mountains, lakes and waterfalls as the train climbs to 700 feet above sea level. We then continue on to Conwy, one of the most complete medieval walled towns in Europe. Enjoy the views of the Conwy estuary from the castle walls or wander the narrow streets with it’s quirky shops and cafes.

Llandudno is Wales largest resort, uniquely situated between The Great & Little Ormes, and famed for it’s 2000ft Victorian pier. With a multitude of shops in the tree-lined streets, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy on your free day.

Finally we will enjoy a scenic drive down the Conwy Valley through the Snowdonia National Park, enjoying the stunning autumn colours. After stopping at the Llanberis Pass for a photo, we arrive in Llanberis for the highlight of our tour, a return journey to the top of Mount Snowdon. At 3,560ft and known as ’The rooftop of Wales’, it is only possible to journey to the summit from July until the winter snows. Weather permitting, we will have stunning views. We will have some time in the village of Llanberis before travelling back to our hotel.
