Torquay is one of Britain’s most famous resorts, situated at the heart of 22 miles of unspoilt coastline, and blessed with a mild climate, sparkling blue waters, Blue-Flag beaches, and attractive gardens.

After a surprise stop for coffee and lunch, we will arrive at our hotel with plenty of time to relax before dinner, and our first night of entertainment.

Our first excursion is a scenic drive to the charming coastal town of Teignmouth, where you can enjoy a stroll along the sea-front, or wander through the town. We then continue on to Newton Abbot, an historic market town, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

With it’s amazing theatre, harbour, gardens and shops, there is plenty to enjoy on your free day in Torquay. Those brave enough could even take a dip in the sea!

Our second excursion is to Brixham, one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK. It is also known for it’s numerous art galleries, promoting the work of local artists. We will finish with a visit to Totnes, where you can visit the castle or explore this pretty little town.
