Ireland - Mingle In The Dingle,
Blarney in Killarney
& The Ring of Kerry
6th - 12th June 2021

This scenic tour takes in beautiful Killarney, the stunning Dingle Peninsula and the spectacular Ring of Kerry. Not only is the area’s breath-taking natural landscape an attraction in itself, it is also home to some of Ireland’s most popular tourist at-tractions, including the characterful Killarney jaunting car horse and carriage rides.

After an overnight stop in Waterford, we travel to our main hotel in plenty of time to settle in and perhaps a pre-dinner tipple.

Our first day’s excursion starts with a scenic drive along part of the famous Wild Atlantic Way, en route to the colourful town of Dingle. We will enjoy the stunning scenery and stop at beautiful Inch Beach, which has featured in various famous films, to take in its 4 miles of beautiful sands and views over Dingle Bay and the mountains of Kerry. On arrival in Dingle, the charming “capital” of the Dingle Pen-insula, we have free time for lunch and a stroll around this authentic Irish town full of pubs, quaint shops and eateries. After lunch, we head down to the main pier from where we enjoy a harbour and dolphin cruise. Hear the story of Dingle Bay and its people on our cruise around the harbour before we travel out to the harbour en-trance, which until recently was home to Fungie the dolphin, a much-loved resident of the Dingle Peninsula since 1983, who enjoyed the company of the boats, swim-ming alongside to say a cheery hello! Other dolphins are regularly seen in the area.

On your free day in Killarney, we start the day with a step back in time and expe-rience one of Ireland’s most traditional modes of transport, on a jaunting car horse and carriage ride. With a bit of the old Blarney from the driver, you will take a cir-cular ride into the Killarney National Park, home to Ross Castle. You can enjoy some time here before returning to Killarney town centre where you will spend the rest of our day at leisure.

Your hotel is one of best located hotels in Kerry, situated right in the centre of Killarney, making it convenient for all the pubs and shops. Kilkenny, known as the Marble City, is charming Irish city filled with Medieval architecture and buildings. An impressive castle, several well-preserved churches, and tons of artisan boutique shops and pubs make it a favourite place to visit for tourists. The hotel is also just a short stroll from the entrance of Killarney National Park should you wish to return there in the afternoon.

Our second full day excursion will be a stunning drive around the mystical and unspoilt Ring of Kerry, one of the most spectacular circular driving routes in Ire-land. The drive provides us with an insight into the area’s ancient heritage and al-lows us to marvel at the fantastic views of its stunning scenery. During our journey, we spend time at leisure in the elegant seaside town of Kenmare, cradled in the heart of Kenmare Bay, and known as the jewel in the Ring of Kerry. The town is a haven of tranquillity, gourmet food, and breath-taking scenery in one of the most natural, unspoilt environments in Europe.
